The Crawling release mini documentary “A REASON TO CRAWL”

As we are all very aware, due to the covid-19 pandemic, the live music scene as we knew it has ended. Of course this is a temporary situation, but truth be told, no one truly knows how this will move forward; we just need to take it one step at a time. The Crawling have responded by continuing to create –  focusing on play through videos, live facebook events and social media. Amidst this, Andy (vocals / guitar), has taken time to reflect upon playing live, providing a narrative to accompany vlog footage from the bands last UK tour, aptly entitled “A REASON TO CRAWL.”

Vocalist / guitarist Andy Clarke commented;

“As a band, we (The Crawling) have found ourselves confined to a digital platform until restrictions are eased, and we can at least meet for rehearsal, never mind play a show. I was growing increasingly frustrated by the lack of gigs, and i needed to do something, so i just took the time to reflect upon some of the shows from last year. It’s not a substitute, but it’s a reminder of what we had, what we do, who we are, why we do it, and what we have to look forward to.”

A REASON TO CRAWL” will be aired by

POET – “Emily”

POET – “Emily”
Self Released
DIGITAL | CD
Doom Metal from US

Hailing from Eugene, Oregon, POET is a doom metal band with elements of classical music. In addition to heavy layers of guitar, there’s also violin and choral moments. The lyrics are taken from Emily Dickinson’s collection of nature poetry.

“Emily” attempts to explore Emily Dickinson’s nature poetry by providing a musical element to it, as if one looks at it with a dark, doomy lens instead of a typical academic perspective.

DECREPID returns 5 years after their sophomore album “Osseous Empire” (Xtreem Music, 2015) with a new opus titled “Endless Sea of Graves” that continues their traditional style of old school Death Metal with a raw sound where brutality and morbid mid tempos are combined in a natural way during the almost 40 minutes of running time. Tracklist for “Endless Sea of Graves” is as follows:

1. Fields of Flesh
2. Phobos Descent

OSSUARY ANEX 1st single, cover art and tracklist revealed

OSSUARY ANEX were formed in 2008 and released two albums: “Awakening” (2012) and “Mutilation Through Prayer” (2016) before joining Xtreem Music and releasing their mini CD “Holy Blasphemition” in 2018. Already with their 3rd album “Obscurantism Apogee”, where Dave Rotten (AVULSED) and Frank Rini (INTERNAL BLEEDING) collaborate, the band has achieved a much more mature and personal sound where its roots based on bands like SUFFOCATION, PYREXIA or SKINLESS, merge with different elements that makes them differ from the mass of meaningless bands that infest Brutal Death today. Cover artwork, once again, has been made by the genius Vladimir ‘Smerdulak’ Chebakov.

Tracklist for “Obscurantism Apogee” is as follows:

1. Contempt of God
2. Firestorm
3. Obscurantism Apogee
4. Revelation (Apocalypsis Ioannis)
