Tell us about your latest release: the main concept; what fans should expect; what were/are your goals with it:
The album ‘There’ is a long road from things we’ve been accustomed to for many years to something new requiring a breakthrough. All these hardships of pushing your way forth through thorns are expressed by diverse moods realized by aloof clean singing, angry screaming, fierce riffs as well as alluring heartfelt guitar melodies.
Intensified by original emotional message-delivering, the atmosphere of sincere anger and determination flavoured with authentic melancholy won’t let one remain indifferent.
Did you have a specific sound in mind when you formed the band, or did that grow and evolve as you played together?
Initially there was some concept of the sound, though it changed within time. However, the goal is reached to a certain extent – brutal natural metal, modern but different from all-sound-the-same cores.
How does your writing process normally work out?
Most melodies and even whole songs come like dreams during night sleep or something. Once you are awake, you rush to note it down. 80 % of songs were not written on purpose, only accidentally – while having a shower, sitting in a traffic jam or going shopping.
What are your ambitions and how far do you want to push your band?
We are quite ambitious about the band and we know that we do and will try to do our best to get the message across around the globe. We are certain about pecularity of our music and we have a lot of diverse stuff to show for the audience.
What are your influences/musical references and the impact those same influences had in your sound?
Being broad-minded in musivc, we have experienced different influences and can claim we are inspired Machine Head, Black Bomb A, Mastodon, Gojira, Woods of Ypres, Black Sabbath, Amorphis and other old and contemporary bands.
What’s next for you?
We are already recording our second album, prepairing four new videos and it by bit getting ready for our first European tour.
