“Troops Of Pain” is Ahl Sina’s debut full-length. Recorded in three different countries – Egypt, Germany and the United States -, “Troops Of Pain” is a concept album which revolves around the history of humanity’s conflicts. Determined to create their own style, Ahl Sina played Egyptian oriental instruments while allowing for the music composition to stem from old school metal.

The band’s vocalist and founder Moustafa Troll comments: «We took a massive risk, and we believe it paid off handsomely. Making a record between three different continents was not an easy process at all despite the many conveniences offered by today’s technologies. In late 2017, we had finalized the guide tracks of the album, and distributed it to all musicians to study the music and create their very own lines
through it. The recording started in Egypt for the guitars, nay flutes, percussion, and synths. Next, recording followed in Germany for the violins, violas, and bass guitar. Then all takes were transferred to the US to record the acoustic drums, then back to Germany for the vocals’ recording. And finally, everything was transferred back to our producer in the US for mixing and mastering.»
