Interview with Lost in Pain

Tell us about your latest release: the main concept; what fans should expect; what were/are your goals with it:

Our latest album “Gold Hunters” has it’s own sound and a vaste variety of metal genres. It goes from a ballad to thrash metal. We based ourselves on the Annunaki mithology which reflects into our modern society in a lot of points. The main goal is always to satisfy ourselves as musicians and to evolve and there’s a clear evolution from the last album “Plague Inc.” to “Gold Hunters”.

Did you have a specific sound in mind when you formed the band, or did that grow and evolve as you played together?

It definitely evolved as we played together. Our music is a mixture of all of our main influences.

How does your writing process normally work out?

Our guitarists bring the main ideas to the reharsal room and after a lot of fighting and laughs we finish the songs together. We leave the lyrics to the singer. He’s the one who has to be comfortable with.

What are your ambitions and how far do you want to push your band?

We’re doing our best to play as many different countries as possible and to continue to release new music.

What are your influences/musical references and the impact those same influences had in your sound?

80’s thrash metal and also a lot of modern metal elements. Listen to our records.

What’s next for you?

Working on new demos and record it. Stay tuned
