Dimholt were formed in 2003 and completed their current line-up in 2006. The band has released one demo and one live EP, followed by two full-length albums, with the current one being entitled “Epistēmē”.  Dimholt plays black metal and throughout the years have shared the stage with numerous local bands as well as major foreign acts such as Cradle Of Filth, Rotting Christ, Schammasch, Bolzer among others. Dimholt have performed on festivals in Greece and Romania alongside bands such as Inferno, Batushka, Lvcifyre and Obliteration. The band is currently scheduling live gigs in Bulgaria and abroad as art of the promotion cycle for the current album. “Epistēmē” (from Greek) hints to the knowledge that you will supposedly reason out and determine for yourself. Knowledge that you will supposedly accumulate or generate by questioning every aspect of existence. In terms of sound the band strived at achieving darker atmospheres and improved songwriting with emphasis on the overall impression.
