Norwegian Cinematic post-rock trio Helsinki Horizon releases mini-album “Signal Flares” on January 21st.
The 6 track mini-album features collaborations with Cellist Dalai Cellai (Antiqva), drummer Tomas Järmyr (Motorpsycho, Yodok), singer Nicole Carino and singer/avant-garde pop act Öllegård Bengtsdotter.
The release is preceded by 2 video-singles- “Signal flares” and “Almlia.
Helsinki Horizon is a sunrise mixed of retro synths, loopy pianos , melodic basslines and punchy drums in a sunset of droning guitars, moody cellos and vocals. All of it randomly colliding in a juxtaposition of cinematic soundtrack and savage imagery.
